About Us

Brooklea Lifestyle Village has been developed on a former Catholic Monastery site that had a long and proud history of serving Townsville constituents.

The property was purchased in the early 1990’s by the Parkside Group of Companies to develop a quality retirement village that offers excellent amenities in a superb central location.

Brooklea Lifestyle Village is owned and operated by Australian Retirement Living Pty Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of the Parkside Group of Companies – a fourth generation North Queensland based company founded in 1947.

TRISH MCRAE MANAGER

Trish has been the manager of Brooklea for over 8 years now, and truly loves her job! Coming from the finance and real estate industry prior, the retirement and lifestyle industry has proven to be the highlight. As Trish says “where else can you make such a difference in a person’s life. I feel so privileged to be a part of the family that is created at Brooklea, I don’t see this as a job as such, but more a community that needs some guidance from time to time”.
