“We have been living at Brooklea now for three years. Our previous home was on a large corner block and could be considered high maintenance. Our health was a concern and we made the decision to move to a retirement village.
We chose Brooklea for a number of reasons. Its welcoming appearance, close proximity to shops, medical facilities and the hospital. Brooklea has great amenities, a relaxing environment with terrific gardens which are maintained for us and a great manager.
We love it here and so does Bingo, our dog and that is important.

“I moved into Brooklea in 2004, after John my husband of 55 years, died. I found the staff very accommodating and welcoming then and they continue to do so. I have enjoyed joining in the various functions, trips and classes held over the years.
Brooklea is quiet, safe environment, conveniently situated within easy walking distance to Kmart, Stockland and Holy Spirit Parish Church. I enjoy village life here and would thoroughly recommend Brooklea.”
“I have lived here at Brooklea for about 12 months now after looking around Townsville for a unit for a year. I chose Brooklea because it is a small village, it can’t actually get any bigger!
It’s close to both hospitals and 2 shopping centres. Brooklea has all I was looking for, elevated oven and a 2 way bathroom. My Villa is a good size, my dog Jasper loves his courtyard and my grandchildren love the pool and spa and I have family stay with my quite often. Life is easy here and I can come and go as I please, overall it is great here!”
